The Department of Archeology houses a documentary archaeological collection, in which monta treasures and ancient and medieval jewelry stand out, along with elements of ancient architecture and funerary monuments that adorn the alleys of the park's approximately 5 hectares of land on the promontory.
The exhibits provide insight into the origin and development of the material and spiritual culture of the Geto-Dacians, as well as the adaptability of the native element to cultural novelty and superiority. Next comes the presentation of the cultural elements that initiated the Romanization process, from which the Trans-Romanian and Romanian culture was born and developed.
