The Răducanu - Buna Vestire Monastery, later also known as "Biserica Buna Vestire" or "Răducanu", was built by the great logofatian Ion Buhuş and a wealthy merchant, Pavăl, at the end of the 17th century and the beginning of the 18th century th, in the city of Tg. Ocna.
Răducanu Church is a remarkable example of the late Baroque from Moldova.
Of the two church bells, the larger one, cast on Mount Athos and inscribed in Greek on November 10, 1810, is displayed in front of the church.
Outside, near the southeast wall of the church, is the tomb of the great politician and writer Costache Negri (1812-1876).
Răducanu Church is the only church in Romania that has a text in French on the pisane.
The church also went through a difficult period, being devastated by the attacks of the Turks in 1821, but it was repainted and restored in 1830, including the pediment. Parts of the old church precinct are preserved, a 5.20 meter wall with oak gates, some outbuildings and a tower with a vaulted gang.
