The Church of Saint Nicholas, located near the city center, was built between 1758 and 1772 by the priest Harapu and the hetman Vasile Ruseț (one of the founders of the churches "Holy Trinity" in Doljești-Neamț and "Saint Spiridon" in Iasi, a boyar who loved the country and with great faith, descendant of ruler Antonie Rușeț and ancestor of Mrs. Elena Cuza).
In the church yard is the Cannon Cemetery, where 69 fallen heroes of the First World War in the battles of Cireșoaia and Coșna are buried, a monument dedicated to the heroes and two cannons from the war period.
