The Lepșa - Zboina Forest is a protected area of ​​national interest, classified in category IV according to the IUCN classification, which means that it is a natural reserve with a floristic and forestry character. It is located in Vrancea County, on the administrative territory of the Tulnici commune.


This natural area, which covers an area of ​​210.70 hectares, is located in the northwestern part of Vrancea County, in the Vrancea Mountains. It is located on a portion of the left slope of the upper basin of the Lepșa River, which is a left tributary of the Putna River, and occupies the southern part of the Zboina Neagră Peak. The area is part of the Putna - Vrancea Natural Park.


The reserve was designated as a protected area by Law no. 5 of 6 March 2000, law concerning the approval of the National Spatial Planning Plan, section III dedicated to protected areas. The territory is characterized as a mountainous area with high biological diversity, including numerous plant species such as trees, shrubs, mosses, lichens and herbaceous plants adapted to the rocky environment. The flora is composed of European, Mediterranean and Pontic elements, and the fauna is specific to the Subcarpathian region of the Curvature.
