The nature reserve SIT NATURA 2000 Măgura - Târgu Ocna is located on the right bank of the Trotuş River and on the left bank of the Slănic River, in Bacău County. It is a mixed reservation, dedicated to the protection of flora, fauna and landscape.
This reservation is located at altitudes between 310 and 700 meters, occupying an area of 210 hectares. It was established to protect the forests, grass formations, bushes and rock formations in the area.
The Măgura - Târgu Ocna nature reserve is one of the most important tourist attractions in Moldova, which you should not miss if you are nearby.
