Geamia Hunchiar, located on Callatis Street, represents an architectural monument that was built in the period 1862-1868, benefiting from funding from Sultan Abdul Aziz.

The materials used in its construction were extracted from the ruins of the Tomis fortress, and the authentic Moorish style gives the monument a distinct identity. With a height of 24 meters, this monument impresses with its magnitude.
